Our beef comes from cattle which was born, raised and slaughtered here in Scotland. At Campbells Prime Meat Ltd, we source beef from farms which meet the Quality Meat Scotland assurance standards.

After being carefully selected, we hang the beef for a minimum of 21 days in our chill. This process ensures that the beef is both tender and flavoursome.

When a fore rib is carefully cut into steaks, we have ourselves some mouth-watering rib eye steaks. But this cut is also available as a whole roasting joint.

We would go so far as to say that with a forerib of beef joint, traditional Sunday dinner turns into something truly special.

Serve with all the usual trimmings for a wholesome family meal.

Comprised of the first 5 bones of the loin, the forerib of beef has ample marbled fat running through the meat. This fat intensifies the flavour. It also ensures that the beef stays tender throughout the cooking process.
