Rub the piri piri spice mix all over the ribs. Pour over some veg oil. Place on the preheated barbecue. Turn after 5 minutes and brush on some barbecue sauce. Turn again and add sauce to the first side.
Place the barbecue lid on if you have one, and leave for about 20 minutes. Return, baste with more barbecue sauce and check how they’re doing. Turn over and leave for another 20 minutes. Repeat this one more time, so that the ribs have cooked for about an hour.
Once the ribs are cooked through and nice and sticky. Remove from the barbecue with tongs. Slice up the ribs and serve with piri piri sauce poured over
