How to cook

Pigs in Blankets
All raw meat products must be cooked thoroughly until they are piping hot.

Roast Potatoes
Place the roast potatoes on a baking tray in a preheated oven at 225 °C / 435 °F / Gas Mark 7 for 20-25 minutes. Turn half way through cooking.

Sage & Onion stuffing
All raw meat products must be cooked thoroughly until they are piping hot.

Carrots
For best results, cook from frozen.
Microwave (900W) : Place approx. 250g into a microwavable bowl with 3 tbsp of water and cover. Heat for 6 minutes. Drain and serve.
Hob : Place required amount into a saucepan of boiling water. Return to boil and simmer for 5 minutes. Drain and serve.

Brussel Sprouts
For best results, cook from frozen.

Pre-heat oven to 220°C / 425°F / Gas Mark 7. Place the parsnips in a single layer on to a baking tray. Bake in the centre of the oven for approx. 20 - 30 minutes turning half way through.

Your meat order is kept cool in transit because we either use an insulated expanded polystyrene box, or a recyclable tough corrugated cardboard box which is foil lined and insulated with bubble wrap. Both boxes are leak-proof and sturdy.

To keep your delivery cool, it is packed along with specially designed ice packs. Our ice packs are made with a frozen water-based gel, which keeps the meat at the correct temperature for up to 48 hours. When the ice does melt, it stays as a gel, which prevents the delivery becoming wet.
