About Product
Cod suits almost every type of cooking, it's white meaty flakes suit creamy, sharp or strong sauces and quite rightly it's a favourite with many chefs. Low in fat, cod is a healthy option.
Over fishing has meant it has been off many menus, but recently marine biologists have said the restrictions from the 1990's have meant stocks have improved. Fishing within quota's, of fish large enough to have reproduced several times allows cod to be considered as a fish to eat occasionaly. Cod is economically one the most important fish in Northern Europe and accounts for approximately 10% of all fish caught worldwide.

Packaging Information
Your meat order is kept cool in transit because we either use an
insulated expanded polystyrene box, or a recyclable tough corrugated
cardboard box which is foil lined and insulated with bubble wrap. Both
boxes are leak-proof and sturdy.
To keep your delivery cool, it is packed along with specially designed
ice packs. Our ice packs are made with a frozen water-based gel, which
keeps the meat at the correct temperature for up to 48 hours. When the
ice does melt, it stays as a gel, which prevents the delivery becoming
wet.
