This punchy, pepper-flecked sauce is a fantastic new addition to our range. Black Pepper was once so prized that it was known as “black gold” and used by traders instead of money. It is still the most loved spice but nowhere more so than the Malabar Coast, the South Western Coast of India. Most Indian dishes will have black peppercorns in them but perhaps the most famous peppery dishes are those cooked by the Chettinads. They are an old caste of traders and bankers known to be fantastic cooks from the Southern-most region of Tamil Nadu.
Although tamer than the original, the flavours are still harmonious and full-bodied with a tomato-based sauce, flavoured with ginger, garlic, curry leaves, mustard seeds and of course black pepper. It is wonderful with chicken, prawns, seafood, pork, mushrooms, eggs, eggplants and much more.
We recommend using this product with beef fillet strips, diced chicken breast, diced pork and fish.

Your meat order is kept cool in transit because we either use an
insulated expanded polystyrene box, or a recyclable tough corrugated
cardboard box which is foil lined and insulated with bubble wrap. Both
boxes are leak-proof and sturdy.

ice packs. Our ice packs are made with a frozen water-based gel, which
