About Campbells
Edward J. Campbell M.D.
Thank you, for taking the time to visit Campbellsmeat.com. Our business supplies meat to many of Scotland's finest hotels and restaurants.  Our aim has always been to give the professional chef the exact quality he is looking for.  I am delighted to now offer this same level of excellence to home customers via the Internet.

A family-run business for over 50 years
A family business over 50 years
The Campbell family had a shop in Queen Street, Edinburgh from the 1920's.
I have been a butcher all my life, as were my father and grandfather before me.  One of the main changes in selling meat has been the dominance of supermarkets, unfortunately leaving less choice for the consumer.  Our website is designed to let you buy traditional butchered cuts, with the convenience of the internet.  All of our products are butchered in the traditional way, not a production line.  This makes a big difference to quality, which I'm sure you will notice.
I personally ensure that we buy only the best quality products from Scottish farms.  As a family business, we take a personal pride in what we do and I hope that this comes across on this website and in our products. All of the products you see on this website were butchered here and produced under Campbells strict quality controls.
