Challans Chicken, the famous 'bare necked' chicken from the Vendee region, are left to run free in small groups in the open and are reared for 81 days on a natural, cereal based diet. This superb free range chicken has the Label Rouge award and is highly sought-after for its excellent taste and fine crispy skin when cooked.
