Description

A classic succulent steak on the bone, sometimes called Carvery Rib Eye Steak, with plenty of lean meat in the eye. This cut is a thick rib eye steak from the fore rib with the bone still attached, adding depth to the flavour when cooked. Big in size and full of flavour, these are frequently served as a meal for two to share.

For best results, sear in a pan and finish in the oven.

Our beef is from predominantly grass fed Scotch Beef cattle, naturally raised on farms recognised for high standards of animal welfare. Your order is prepared here in Linlithgow by our skilled butchers and delivered to your door fresh, so you can choose between freezing or consuming within a few days.

Côte de Boeuf is an excellent choice for those that wish to indulge in a true restaurant experience at home. To aid in your fine dining experience, we have a range of guides available for your perusal including How to Cook a Perfect Steak which has many tips and tricks from our in-house chefs, and our Top 10 Steak Sauces and Top 10 Steak Sides will give you all the recipes you need to find your perfect pairing. How to cook

All raw meat products must be cooked thoroughly until they are piping hot.

Packaging

Your meat order is kept cool in transit because we either use an insulated expanded polystyrene box, or a recyclable tough corrugated cardboard box which is foil lined and insulated with bubble wrap. Both boxes are leak-proof and sturdy.

To keep your delivery cool, it is packed along with specially designed ice packs. Our ice packs are made with a frozen water-based gel, which keeps the meat at the correct temperature for up to 48 hours. When the ice does melt, it stays as a gel, which prevents the delivery becoming wet.

Michelin star quality

The most important factors in cooking for me are great produce, a good technique and perfect harmony. Great quality produce means you can create great quality meals.

Local & Sustainable

Scotland’s livestock farmers are passionate about looking after our iconic countryside and play a vital role in sustaining an industry which supports around 50,000 jobs – many in Scotland’s fragile rural communities.

Family owned since 1910

The Campbells story started over 100 years ago when a young Thomas Campbell took up his craft as a butcher in 1910. Over a century later, and his legacy still lives on in the Campbells name.
