The piece de resistance of any Burns' Night - warm, reekin', rich, spicy and ideal for celebrating the anniversary of Robert Burns' birth in classic fashion. Our Chieftain Haggis is made to the Campbells' own traditional family recipe that dates back to 1911, which means that this year our recipe is now 110 years old!
Our haggis is freshly hand-made by Campbells in Linlithgow, and although the exact specifications remain a closely guarded family secret we can assure you that we use the finest Oats, Lamb, and seasoning all wrapped in a natural casing. We pride ourselves on being specialists in the production of the traditional Scottish Haggis, the national dish of Scotland. Please do allow at least one extra day's notice when ordering a Chieftain as this is a very special product.

Your Haggis is freshly made and is suitable for freezing. The Haggis is already cooked and only needs reheating until piping hot
Preheat the oven to 160°C. Wrap the Chieftain Haggis loosely in plenty of tin foil
Add approx. 1cm of water to a casserole dish.
Place the wrapped Haggis in the casserole dish in the oven and cook for 1 hour and 40 minutes. Top up the water regularly.
Carefully unwrap the Haggis to avoid damaging the casing.
Serve steaming hot on a serving dish and cut open at the table!

Your meat order is kept cool in transit because we either use an
insulated expanded polystyrene box, or a recyclable tough corrugated
cardboard box which is foil lined and insulated with bubble wrap. Both
boxes are leak-proof and sturdy.
To keep your delivery cool, it is packed along with specially designed
ice packs. Our ice packs are made with a frozen water-based gel, which
keeps the meat at the correct temperature for up to 48 hours. When the
