Who We Are

The Campbells story started over 100 years ago when a young Thomas Campbell took up his craft as a butcher in 1910. Over a century later, and his legacy still lives on in the Campbells name. We are Scotland’s leading supplier of fresh meat, fresh fish and delicatessen products into foodservice. We deliver everything from dry aged Scotch beef to smoked Scottish salmon and Scottish cheeses, all offered at the best possible price.

Prime Meat

We mature our own Scotch beef, Campbells Gold, on the bone for at least 21 days in our dry aging chill. Only cattle born, reared and slaughtered in Scotland which have spent their entire life under the Quality Meat Scotland Assurance Scheme can be labelled as Campbells Gold. The beef is sourced by us from Scotland’s leading abattoirs and beef farmers.

We provide a dedicated butchery team for each customer. This means that our customers will get a consistent product as the same butchers prepare their order every time.

Quality Meat Scotland

Scotch Beef has borne the Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) designation since 1996, which is testament to the rigorous standards that are kept at every stage, resulting in high-quality, traceable beef raised to the highest of standards.

Our Specially Selected Pork is the flagship brand of the pork industry in Scotland, sourced by us mainly from Robertson’s in Ayrshire. It is subject to stringent welfare, handling, processing and quality standards all the way through the supply chain from animal feed to arriving at your kitchen. This gives a guarantee of provenance, excellent quality and great taste.

Campbells & Co Smoked Salmon

In our on-site Smokehouse we carefully source and select whole salmon to our precise requirements. Our salmon expressions develop through revolutionary curing and smoking techniques in modern kilns before maturing for quality, consistency and flavour.
