How to make batter for fish

To make fish batter, mix 150g plain flour, 1 tsp baking powder, and 1/2 tsp salt in a bowl. Add 150ml cold water and 1 egg, whisking until smooth. Dip fish fillets in the batter, then fry in oil heated to 180°C for 4-5 minutes until golden and crispy. Drain excess oil on kitchen paper and serve with chips and tatar or curry sauce, with a side of delicious mushy peas.
