Description

Sirloin Steak is right next to fillet in tenderness, and benefits from a richer flavour. Cut from the striploin, the meat is lightly marbled with a thin strip of fat left on to prevent the meat from drying out during roasting.

Special trim sirloin steaks have a little more fat than larder trim sirloin steaks for more flavour.

Our beef is from Scotch Beef cattle, naturally reared on farms recognised for high standards of animal welfare. Your order is prepared here in Linlithgow by our skilled butchers and delivered to your door fresh, so you can choose between freezing or consuming within a few days.

Our guide on How to Cook a Perfect Steak At Home will let you in on everything you need to know to cook a perfect steak. Sirloin is a very versatile steak and can be paired with a variety of sides and sauces. For some ideas, have a look at our Top 10 Steak Sauces and Top 10 Steak Sides recipe blog posts. For a simpler option, we also have several ready-made steak sauces including steak classics like Diane, Pepper sauce, and Béarnaise. Our sauces in combination with this twin pack are ideal for a restaurant experience at home for two.

How to cook

All raw meat products must be cooked thoroughly until they are piping hot.

Packaging

Your meat order is kept cool in transit because we either use an insulated expanded polystyrene box, or a recyclable tough corrugated cardboard box which is foil lined and insulated with bubble wrap. Both boxes are leak-proof and sturdy.

To keep your delivery cool, it is packed along with specially designed ice packs. Our ice packs are made with a frozen water-based gel, which keeps the meat at the correct temperature for up to 48 hours. When the ice does melt, it stays as a gel, which prevents the delivery becoming wet.

Michelin star quality

The most important factors in cooking for me are great produce, a good technique and perfect harmony. Great quality produce means you can create great quality meals.

Local & Sustainable

Scotland’s livestock farmers are passionate about looking after our iconic countryside and play a vital role in sustaining an industry which supports around 50,000 jobs – many in Scotland’s fragile rural communities.

Family owned since 1910

The Campbells story started over 100 years ago when a young Thomas Campbell took up his craft as a butcher in 1910. Over a century later, and his legacy still lives on in the Campbells name.
