Description
Campbells' own recipe traditional Scottish Black Pudding which has a rich, smooth and full bodied flavour with a hint of cinnamon and nutmeg aroma with a slightly spicy after taste. Ours has a soft and crumbly texture with visual flecks of oatmeal, and holds together well without being greasy.
Traditionally served at breakfast, but lends itself to brunches as an accompaniment to Eggs Benedict, and starter dishes in the evening too.

How to cook
Preheat oven to 200oC, Gas 6, Fan 180oC
Remove casing and ends.
Cut pudding into slices approx. 3cm thick
Place slices evenly on a baking tray and place in the centre of the oven.
Cook for 20 minutes until piping hot, do not reheat once cooled

Packaging
Your meat order is kept cool in transit because we either use an insulated expanded polystyrene box, or a recyclable tough corrugated cardboard box which is foil lined and insulated with bubble wrap. Both boxes are leak-proof and sturdy.
To keep your delivery cool, it is packed along with specially designed ice packs. Our ice packs are made with a frozen water-based gel, which keeps the meat at the correct temperature for up to 48 hours. When the ice does melt, it stays as a gel, which prevents the delivery becoming wet.
