Please Note: These pies are made fresh to order. Therefore, we are only able to deliver them on a Thursday every week. Orders need to be made by midday on Tuesday for delivery the following week.

These delicious pies are filled with tender chunks of beef cooked in a rich, thick gravy and enveloped in crisp, golden pastry. The combination is a traditional, comforting meal that balances meatiness and pastry perfectly.

How to Store Steak & Gravy Pies

Keep chilled at 0–5 °C and consume within 4 days of despatch. Can be frozen upon delivery. Consume within 1 month. Defrost in the fridge before cooking. Do not refreeze after thawing.

How to cook

How to Cook Steak and Gravy Pies

  1. Remove from packaging, including the foil base and place on a baking tray.
  2. Place in a pre-heated oven at 180°C, 350°F or Gas Mark 4 for approximately 25-30 minutes.
  3. Ensure that the pie is piping hot before serving.

For fan-assisted or combination ovens, adjust the heat according to the manufacturer’s guidelines. Consume immediately, do not reheat.

Packaging

Your meat order is kept cool in transit because we either use an insulated expanded polystyrene box, or a recyclable tough corrugated cardboard box which is foil lined and insulated with bubble wrap. Both boxes are leak-proof and sturdy.

To keep your delivery cool, it is packed along with specially designed ice packs. Our ice packs are made with a frozen water-based gel, which keeps the meat at the correct temperature for up to 48 hours. When the ice does melt, it stays as a gel, which prevents the delivery becoming wet.
